Default So which is the hottest game at the momemt?

Well, not having that much time to play games I wanted to hear you which game is the hot potato at the moment. I was thinking of purchasing Half-Life 2. From what I have read and seen it looks pretty good. I know I am the worst player at these games. I couldn't hit a cows ass with a contra bass even if I stood 1 feet away from it, but I do like to play these kind of games anyway as they are fun, intense and from what I can see with Half-Life 2, the graphics are superb.

Depends on the platform as well. The hottest thing going that I hear about right now is Halo2 on XBox. Everyone is raving about the multiplayer. THe single player I guess is a little boring and the ending stinks, but the multiplayer is supposed to be awesome. HalfLife 2 looks wicked cool. I havent played either so I cant tell you right now. lol.

I still play Americas Army when I get a chance. My computer just wont handle the new games graphics without scaling it down to make it look like a super mario bros on gameboy. So I dont bother buying the new games now.

Half Life 2 is pretty amazing.. though it is scripted so you have to follow the path of the game entirely.. UT2004 is my favourite.. been playing it online since it was released and never get tired of it.. Onslaught mode absolutely Rocks.... Waiting for Stalker which should be released in the next couple of months, looks amazing...

Yeah I heard UT2004 should be a classic too, actually I was thinking of buying that as well. Never heard of Stalker but I looked it up at google and found the site http://www.stalker-game.com/index_eng.html.
Yeah, it looks pretty amazing, definitely worth looking in to. Thanks for sharing the info.

I have UT2004. It is pretty cool, plays really well even on my old computer. the only thing is that I have a short attention span to games now that are so fast paced and just run around shooting almost without strategy. I can play for an hour at most once in a great while before I lose interest in the fun factor. A lot of people like that, and I can see if you do, than that game is really great for you.
