Default Equalize with Photo FX

There are a couple of ways to sharpen a picture in Photo FX. One is to Texturize and fade it into the picture, the other is to Equalize the picture. The Equalize filter will help you highlight color areas in a picture. It can do wonders in terms of highlighting areas of your photos.

Right click on the image, to bring up the menu. Select Artistic Filters and then Equalize.

In the example below you will see a combination of Light Correction and Equalize. Compare it with the image above.

Now I have to mention that the Equalize filter does not work well with overexposed pictures, you will have to remove light or make adjustments with the Photo Masks to fix the overexposure, before adding the Equalize Filter.

Try it out on your photos, it might just be worth it

Ahhhhh, sorry about that Bev Did you make sure to get the recent update last time it was announced? Try downloading Visualizer Photo FX again, and see if it wont do an update. Current version is 1.41, which can be checked by right clicking and selecting "About...".

This should do the trick

I have checked my version which says it is 1.4 not a 1.41, so i have tried re-installing, by going and entering my login name and password at the top of the FX page, but i am getting an "unauthorised access" message coming up?

It's quite alright Bev I didn't see your last message here, so I made sure your account information was sent again, but just disregard that.
