Same here Julianne, makes it much easier when someone takes the time to explain it so well, thanks again Darren.
After the tutorial about text formatting I have now got to a stage where, without being too fancy, I like the layout of my album.
I have taken out the picture logo until such time as I have a more suitable image and replaced it with a simple text logo, I think it looks neater anyway. To give this a bit more punch I have found the <strong> <strong/> tag which is much the same as bold and have kept it as a link to my home page as Darren demonstrated in the tutorial example for the image logo. I have coloured the background and main text to exactly the same as I use on my main web pages which means I have kept the Bears & Houses ‘image’ flowing onto the album pages. It no longer looks as if the viewer has left the main site.
Just getting this far has enabled me to start re thinking my web site to create a more professional look for my photography. All down to PhotoFX and a few basic lessons in adapting it with custom HTML. Once again, and I make no apologies for keep saying this, thanks so much for the software and the support, VIG’s winning combination.
