This ability to make your own frames is great Darren. As you probably have guessed, I have had to have a go but sadly I was not successful. I did get a frame but I obviously wasn't precise enough on the selections as I got a bit of white showing through.

The other problem had I got that bit right was the 'resolution' of the frame segments. It looked quite 'messy' on the texture of the frame, as if the pieces were very enlarged. Could you give an idea as to what size the frame needs to be in the original design stage, i.e. would I start off with a new document in PS of 800x600 pix or 10" x 8"? And, as a rough guide, how wide should the strips be?

Thanks for another great 'do it yourself' addition to PhotoFX
